Visit the Talinga property and be guided through tastings of Extra Virgin Olive Oils and traditionally fermented kalamata olives, spicy Zatar and traditional Dukkha. Next stop Bleasdale Winery owned and operated by fifth generation members of the Potts family, tour the historic cellars and see the massive red gum lever press which is still in use.
Newmans/Rusticana are growers of the punchy root vegetable, horseradish. Keeping to Fred Newman’s traditional recipe, Brian and Anne Meakin produce one of South Australia’s food icons - Newman’s Original Red Labels Horseradish.
Join Brian and Anne for a casual afternoon on the balcony overseeing the horseradish fields. A tour of the factory will be followed by lunch of home grown delicacies and Rusticana wines.
Last stop is Angas Plain Wines where Judy and Phillip Cross will host an afternoon of wine tasting and treat you to delightful cabernet jam, fresh Alexandrina cream and scones.
